Limited edition giclee print (50 only) of original watercolour and acrylic ink painting of Dunstanburgh Castle, on the Northumberland coast.
In the painting, I used a mix of watercolour and acrylic inks with lots of water to create the granulation effect, together with a touch of granulation medium. I wanted to capture the atmosphere and timeless quality of the castle and the coast that surrounds it. It is a wild and beautiful place, where the wind and sea sweep in.
The print is printed on hard-wearing watercolour paper to replicate the texture of the original. Comes unframed and unmounted. Size 20cmx20cm.
