Expressive Watercolour Landscapes Developing fluency in the language of watercolour A relaxed and immersive three-day course in North Yorkshire Friday 26 to Sunday 28 February 2027 | 10am–4pm Designed as a complete learning experience rather than three separate workshops, each day builds naturally on the last. By the end of the course you'll have a much deeper understanding of watercolour and the confidence to create expressive landscape paintings in your own style. Whether you're new to watercolour or looking to move beyond the basics, this course offers time to slow down, experiment and make real progress. Over three days you'll: Discover – Build confidence with the materials and understand how watercolour behaves. Develop – Explore composition, tone, light and atmosphere while creating expressive landscapes. Express – Experiment with ink, expressive mark-making and more personal approaches to landscape painting to find your own voice. Meet Your Tutor I'm a North Yorkshire landscape artist and experienced teacher with over 30 years'teaching experience. My workshops are known for their relaxed, encouraging atmosphere, where you'll learn practical techniques while developing the confidence to paint in your own expressive style.
