Discover the Joy of Watercolour Painting – Beginner-Friendly Workshop in Harrogate Date: Friday 27 February Time: 10.30am – 3.30pm with one hour for lunch (1-2) Location: Creative Harrogate, 1st Floor, No 2 Victoria Avenue, Harrogate HG1 1EL Level: Suitable for complete beginners – no experience needed! All materials provided. Join me for a relaxed and inspiring one-day watercolour painting workshop. Whether you’re completely new to painting or looking to refresh your skills, this workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of watercolour in a calm, creative setting. By the end of the day, you’ll have created two of your own paintings to take home, along with a new sense of confidence and joy in using this magical medium. What You’ll Learn You’ll explore key watercolour techniques step-by-step, including: Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry painting How to control water and create soft blends Choosing and mixing a colour palette Spattering for texture and effects Lifting and scraping paint using a plastic card How to work confidently and intuitively with watercolour Workshop Details All materials, paints, paper, brushes and refreshments are provided – just bring your enthusiasm!
