Ready to immerse yourself in nature, creativity, and a day of pure artistic bliss? Join me for a Watercolour Painting Day! Whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, this day is all about having fun, exploring new techniques, and capturing the magic of landscape. What you'll enjoy: Relaxing Outdoor Painting: We’ll start the day with some exploratory sketching, weather permitting —perfect for inspiration! Expert Guidance: I will be on hand to guide you step-by-step, ensuring everyone feels confident and supported. From blending beautiful washes to adding textural excitement, you'll learn tips and tricks to elevate your skills, all while having fun! A Day of Joy & Connection: Meet like-minded creatives and enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. There’s no pressure, just an opportunity to unwind and enjoy the process of painting, making new friends along the way. A delightful day painting, with good company and plenty of laughs, awaits. All materials are provided. Practicalities: The workshop runs from 10am to 3 pm and takes place at my studio, upstairs at Wath Court, Hovingham YO62 4NN on Wednesday 17 June. Refreshments throughout the day are included so please advise any dietary restrictions. Lunch, however, is not, so please bring a packed lunch. Your tutor: Ione is a landscape artist and tutor with over 30 years' teaching experience. Her aim in her teaching is twofold: that you feel supported to develop confidence and skill in using the wonderful medium of watercolour; that you enjoy a restorative, creative time playing with paint.
