Festive Watercolour Workshop – Create a Starry Night Painting & Your Own Christmas Cards! Join me for a joyful and relaxed day of painting, perfect for all abilities – whether you're an absolute beginner or looking to try out some new techniques. No drawing skills needed – just bring your curiosity and creativity! This workshop is all about fun, experimentation, and festive spirit. You’ll enjoy a mindful, playful space to connect with others and explore the magic of watercolour. Using a vibrant but limited palette, you’ll learn how to create a painting of a starry night. You'll then go on to create a couple of beautiful handmade Christmas cards to take home – perfect for gifting to your loved ones. We’ll experiment with techniques like spatter, salt, cling film and masking fluid to create colourful, one-of-a-kind designs. What to bring: All materials needed for the day are provided. It would be helpful to bring an apron and something to carry your masterpieces home in. Lunch is not provided so please also bring a packed lunch. Refreshments will be available to keep you cosy and fuel your creativity during the day so do let us know any dietary requirements. Got a favourite place you’d love to paint? Bring a reference photo and personalise your card even more! You’ll be gently guided step by step by Ione, a landscape artist and experienced tutor with over 30 years of teaching under her belt. Her workshops are designed to build your confidence, spark your creativity, and give you a warm, restorative time with paint.
