Course Description

Fancy spending a day playing with watercolour and creating your own atmospheric summer woodland? My Summer Woods Watercolour Workshop on Saturday 29 August is suitable for everyone – including absolute beginners. We'll experiment with some lovely, easy-to-use techniques including masking fluid, spattering, salt and wax resist, alongside washes and wet-in-wet painting. We'll also work with a limited but vibrant colour palette to create light, texture and atmosphere. After some time experimenting, I'll guide you step by step through creating your own woodland painting, with plenty of individual help along the way.
