Teaching Creative Workshops A one-day professional development workshop for artists, Launch Workshop. Great workshops begin with understanding people. This one-day professional development workshop is designed for artists who want to learn how to teach art workshops that are welcoming, well planned and genuinely enjoyable to attend. Drawing on over thirty years' experience in education, alongside a successful workshop business, you'll discover how adults learn best in creative settings and how to create workshops where people feel calm, supported and confident enough to experiment and develop their own creativity. During the day we'll explore how to plan engaging workshops, structure learning into achievable steps, support mixed abilities, build confidence through positive teaching, and create the kind of learning experience that participants remember long after the workshop has finished. Whether you're planning your very first workshop or looking to improve the workshops you already run, you'll leave with practical ideas, a clear framework and the outline of your own workshop ready to develop further.
